About You
We are currently seeking a confident, dedicated, and ambitious Planning Associate eager to expand their planning expertise. You'll play a pivotal role in reviewing emerging planning policy and guidance, supporting Divisional Development activities including Site Acquisition, planning applications, and appeals.
Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 2 years' experience thriving in fast-paced environments. The role demands professionalism, tact, and confidentiality, with demonstrated skills in assisting with both minor and major development applications.
Intellectually agile with meticulous attention detail, a positive strategic approach and being adaptable are highly sought-after attributes for this role.
The Role
Typically, the role will involve managing your own workload under the supervision of the Group Head of Planning and Group Planning Manager and undertaking planning research and enquiries, monitoring, and reviewing development plans and preparing representations to address issues with practical implications.
Whilst the role will be based out of our Head Office in Bournemouth, we have adopted a hybrid way of working which typically requires 2 days a week in the office, with the remainder working from home or attending site meetings.

Your Attributes
You will have:
12. Degree level qualification in Town Planning or another appropriate Build Environment qualification.
13. Ideally with some experience of Planning Policy for Older Persons Housing but consideration will be given to the suitable candidate looking to commence their career in Planning
14. Experience of managing planning applications
You will bring:
