This is a permanent role offered on a predominantly remote basis, with in-person attendance required only twice per month for evening Planning Committee meetings. You'll advise on a range of planning and highways matters, ensuring the authority operates lawfully and effectively in these areas. Key Responsibilities: Handling a varied caseload of planning law matters, including drafting and negotiating Section 106 agreements Providing clear, practical legal advice on planning and highways issues Supporting and attending Planning Committees (two evenings per month) Advising on planning enforcement matters, including the drafting of enforcement noticesAbout You We're looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Planning Solicitor who can work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team. Essential Requirements: 3-5 years PQE as a Planning Solicitor (or equivalent experience) Strong knowledge and understanding of planning law Previous experience within a local authorityDesirable: Experience advising on highways lawInterested?
