Role: Art Teacher (KS3 and KS4)
Contract: Temp to Perm (Full-Time)

This school is looking for an Art Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a temp-to-perm basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract. The school has an outstanding Ofsted rating and is well regarded for its strong academic performance and supportive ethos. Curriculum Planning and Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging Art curriculum that aligns with educational standards and objectives.
Deliver inspiring and creative Art lessons to secondary school students across KS3 and KS4.
Assess and evaluate student progress through coursework, practical projects, and written components where appropriate.
Provide additional support or stretch and challenge to ensure all students reach their creative potential.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student development and address any concerns.
Professional Development:
Stay up to date with current trends and best practices in Art education.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
Bachelor s degree in Art, Fine Art, Art Education, or a related field (Master s degree is a plus).
Teaching certification or license in secondary education with a focus on Art.
Proven experience teaching Art at secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of a range of artistic techniques, media, and art history.
Enhanced DBS Certificate.
