Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable.
Duties
* Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Conduct medication administration under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals.
* Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries, offering guidance on medication usage, and ensuring patients understand their treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate records of all dispensed medications and assist in inventory management.
* Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to optimise patient outcomes and ensure seamless service delivery.
* Uphold hygiene standards and maintain a clean working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with medication dispensing processes.
* Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices is essential.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
