Salary: £150-£260 per day (paid weekly)

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
* Inspire students to develop a love of Geography through enquiry-based learning and real-world case studies across KS3–KS5
* Use innovative teaching strategies to support a range of learning styles and abilities
* Participate in school trips, fieldwork and extra-curricular activities that bring the subject to life
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback to help every learner succeed
* Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school’s behaviour policy
* Work in partnership with parents/carers, ensuring open, respectful and timely communication to celebrate success and address concerns
* Engage in continuous professional learning, embracing feedback and contribute to departmental excellence
Qualifications and Experience:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025 document)
* Proven experience teaching Geography at Secondary level (KS3/KS4, KS5 desirable)
Vetting Checks:
* Right to Work in the UK (No Limitations)
* Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (Child/Child & Adult Workforce)
* Reference checks covering the last 2 years of employment or education
