Project Manager – Lancaster (Permanent or Contract (Inside IR35)
Your future team:
Assystem is a well-established leader in the nuclear decommissioning sector. Join our team as Project Manager within our Nuclear Decommissioning Business Unit. You will be supported by an engineering and project controls team and will be responsible for delivering assigned packages of work which vary in complexity.
Your Missions:
Delivery of assigned packages of work as per contract conditions (NEC3 or other)
Cost and schedule performance of assigned work packages

Project setup, SQEP assessment, project governance, project close-out

Essential Skills and Experience:
Engineering design and construction experience preferred.
NEC Experience
Full project lifecycle experience from business case approval, design, execution, handover
Experience of contract management and change control
* Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours to drive timely delivery of an engineering schedule to quality and cost.
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in the successful management of the interface between the client team and the integrated delivery team.
* Demonstrable experience of delivering early phase scoping activities (requirements management, optioneering etc) and project initiation (execution planning, scope definition, schedule build, estimating, risk management and Asset Investment Form production and presentation) for multi-discipline asset care projects.
* Developing ‘fit for purpose’ project execution strategies that are commensurate with a portfolio of asset care type work.
