Location note: Home-based, however applicants must live in a TW postcode or within close proximity to the M25, as daily travel across southwest and west London is required.

The Package
* Starting salary of £21,500 per year
* 31 days annual leave
* 37.5 hours per week (Between 8:00am – 6:00pm)

What will I be doing as an apprentice?
As an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst apprentice, you will have a hands-on role that involves a variety of tasks, including:
* Investigation of building fabric works as part of an asbestos survey team. This can range from domestic properties to grade II listed buildings to nuclear power plants.
* Air monitoring, sampling and analysis
* Ensuring all work complies with Health and Safety regulations
* Delivering excellent customer service to clients at all levels
* Travelling throughout your allocated region as part of your day-to-day role, with potential travel further afield
* Collaborating closely with both the field and administrative team

About you
Working with asbestos requires precision, care, and a strong sense of responsibility. To do well in this role, you’ll need great attention to detail, a methodical approach, and a genuine interest in science and the built environment. You’ll be visiting different sites most days, so flexibility is key. You don’t need to know everything from day one – what matters most is your enthusiasm, reliability, and willingness to learn. Note: Due to the nature of the apprenticeship and being required to travel within the region, you will need to be 18+ and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Eligibility
There are some minimum requirements you’ll need to meet in order to do an apprenticeship, these are rules set by the UK Government. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate that the program will provide learning and experiences beyond their current qualifications and professional expertise. If you already hold a Level 3, degree or equivalent higher-level qualification in a closely related field, or possess substantial relevant experience, you may not be eligible for apprenticeship funding. You’ll need to be over 16, not in full-time education, have lived in the UK for 3 years and have the right to work in the UK.
