Overview
DB Cargo UK is currently recruiting for two Production Managers to join our Asset Maintenance and Management department based at our Stoke depot.
You will be leading and directing the Traction and Rolling Stock maintenance activities at our Stoke Depot and other DB Cargo sites across the UK, ensuring cost effectiveness and the repairing of the fleet in accordance with laid down technical safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all materials requirements are met and develop and implement action plans to address any shortfalls.
* Produce condition and production reports and review all specifications for new work.
* Attend incidents and derailments as Recovery Supervisor/Incident Engineer and participate in inquiries as required.
* Take responsibility for general Health and Safety on the Depot, safety tours and IPEs, and communicate any amendments to staff.
* Update and ensure staff have all competencies on CCMS and other systems; maintain overall competency standards.
* Be responsible for compliance of Plant and Equipment of the site.
* Ensure updates and amendments to RA and SSOW periodic reviews are completed and compliant.
* Maintain a high level of employee engagement through transformational management style; manage disciplinaries and grievances in line with company policy.
Qualifications
* Experience leading a large and diverse engineering maintenance facility with traction and rolling stock knowledge whilst maintaining safety and compliance.
* IOSH qualified or suitable equivalent.
* Completed Accident Investigation Course and Personal Track Safety.
* Transformational leadership skills; ability to work well with team and wider business.
* Experience overseeing industrial manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, and welding environments.
