A business based in Scarborough are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a 12-month contract. On offer is a salary of £28,000–£33,000 plus a range of excellent benefits including private medical care, enhanced pension, and flexible/hybrid working options. As an Accounts Payable Clerk you will be: Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently Checking invoice details and resolving discrepancies promptly Matching, batching, and coding invoices within the system Maintaining supplier records and liaising with external stakeholders Producing reports and analytics for key business stakeholders Supporting a collaborative finance team in a fast-paced, global environment To be successful in this role, you will ideally have/be: Previous experience within Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Proficiency in SAP, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset Accurate, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting This fantastic opportunity is easily commutable from Scarborough, Whitby, Pickering, and surrounding areas.
