We are looking for an experienced registered nurse with vision, drive and enthusiasm. The role is within our District Nursing Service, which is dynamic, proactive and progressive, committed to making a difference for our patients.
Career Development Opportunities
* Band 6 District Nurse by undertaking the District Nurse Qualification.
* Chronic Condition Case Manager by undertaking disease‑specific training to provide evidence‑based care to individuals with highly complex needs.
* Nurse Practitioner by undertaking a modular approach to attain the required clinical skills.
Main Duties
Provide clinically effective care within the District Nurse Team and travel between patient homes, both within towns and rural areas, in a timely manner. The post is rotational over 24 hours.
Requirements
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to travel between patient homes promptly.
* Willingness to work a 24‑hour rotation.
Language Skills
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
