Role Overview
This is a senior commercial management role offering direct influence at board level. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll lead strategic initiatives across finance, procurement, credit control, and operational improvement, ensuring the business is positioned for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all commercial and financial operations
* Oversee order processing, invoicing, and payment systems
* Drive credit control and maintain strong cash flow management
* Develop and optimise procurement strategy and purchase ledger processes
* Strengthen supplier relationships and streamline purchase order systems
* Implement continuous improvement across IT, finance, and office operations
* Ensure accuracy and integrity of contracts and commercial documentation
* Maintain compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Candidate Profile
* Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
* Proven experience in senior commercial leadership, financial management, or operations management
* Strong background in procurement, credit control, and financial systems
* Excellent leadership, analytical, and organisational skills
* Confident communicator with experience engaging board-level stakeholders
