We are now recruiting for Technical Machine Operators for our client, based in the Ilkeston area. The role involves the overseeing of automated high speed packing lines.
Duties -
Maintain production to meet lead times for customers.
Producing daily production sheets and ensure all relevant data is accurately captured, including stoppages for film roll changes, product and pack size change overs, and downtime.
Managing stoppages and breakdowns with the engineering team
Accurately manage and record a Check Weighing Chart to comply with Trading Standards,
Manage all packaging materials, including Form Fill & Seal film, stretch wrap and pallet hoods
What we are looking for -
Experience working with automated packing equipment such as multihead weighers, Form Fill & Seal machines, robots, and automatic wrapping machines.
Basic engineering skills, able to diagnose problems and either fix or work with the engineering team
Able to understand and operate PLCs
Physically fit with good dexterity, and a keen eye for detail
