Your Role

* Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities - empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences.
* Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions.
* Communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too.
* Work across various shift patterns including early, late, weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.
Your Service
Four Winds is a friendly, warm bungalow in a quiet coastal town. Everyone who lives here has their own private space to make their own and are encouraged to get involved in making decisions about their home; what's on the meal plan, ideas for new home projects, and what goes on their busy social calendar. There's a relaxed and calm atmosphere, with everybody always keeping busy with their own hobbies; whether that's art, reading, gardening or cooking.

* The next step will be an interview in the service, where you'll meet the team and the people we support.
* If successful, we'll organise your Free DBS Check and references prior to confirming your start date.
* Your journey will then begin with a 3-day online induction, before heading to the service to get started.

You may be new to care, or already have experience in the social care sector or NHS (Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant). As long as you come with a person-centred approach, a caring nature, and you are able to demonstrate a commitment to working as part of a team to support disabled and autistic people - then we're here to provide you with the training and knowledge needed to succeed.
