We're looking to recruit 2 experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Enforcement Officers on behalf of a well-established housing association in Liverpool. This is an ongoing, temporary contract, working 37 hours per week (Mon to Fri).
You will be required to attend offices in Liverpool & St Helens once a week, and will be required to use your own vehicle for work purposes during the day.
Your new role
1. Manage, investigate and resolve your own caseload of ASB, hate crime and tenancy breaches
2. Gather evidence, prepare witness statements and other legal documentation, and attend/present evidence in court.
3. Support witnesses and victims throughout the legal process, and liaise with Legal Services and other stakeholders throughout
4. Liaise with, advise and support Neighbourhood Officers, to ensure a consistent approach to ASB resolution
5. Prepare and serve legal notices
6. Make referrals to other support agencies where necessary to ensure all preventative action is taken
What you'll need to succeed
7. Experience in high level ASB management including Domestic Abuse and Hate Crime
8. Experience within an Enforcement role, attending court, gathering and presenting evidence in court, ideally within a social housing environment
9. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
10. Good knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and best practice
11. Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
