About the role: The role will provide you with opportunities to train, grow and progress in a direction that suits your own particular skillset and interests. You will work on a variation of live projects, within a large multidisciplinary design team. With support from both the design and site teams, you will offer positive impact on the community. Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed civil engineering designs and calculations
* Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules
* Work closely and collaboratively with the construction team to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and beyond
* Prepare designer risk assessments, health & safety risk assessments, and associated documents and reports
* Engage and collaborate with the client, managing relationships and adopting a One‑Team approach
Qualifications
* Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) or a postgraduate qualification (MSc)
* Excellent verbal communication skills, allowing you to confidently liaise with clients and team members
* Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and ability to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing
* Considered approach to problem solving
