RESTAURANT MANAGER

Today, Penmaenuchaf is an exemplary small luxury hotel, acquired by Seren in 2022, a unique collection of high-quality hospitality venues in Wales. The hotel is highly regarded as one of the finest privately-owned country house hotels in North Wales. At the foot of Cadair Idris in the heart of the national park, the 14-bedroom hotel holds a coveted 'Michelin Key' and also home to an excellent restaurant, renowned for a wonderful wine list.
We are now looking for a hands-on and dedicated Restaurant Manager who is passionate about leading the team by example and to help guide the restaurant to become a nationally recognised destination for food lovers.

A successful candidate will ideally have:
· Hotel restaurant management experience in a multiple rosette/Michelin environment.
· A passion for wine and spirits with WSET level 2 or higher.
· Experience working in a high quality customer focused restaurant environment.
· Genuine and sincere nature with a real passion for customer service.
· Natural confidence and first-class interpersonal skills.
· Brilliant team player able to inspire staff and lead by example on the floor.
· Passionate about training team members.
· Strong financial and commercial acumen.
· A resilient nature with an ability to work under pressure.
· Ability to resolve guest issues calmly and effectively.
· Immaculate presentation and a friendly yet professional personality.
