Purpose of the position: As Buyer, you will report to the Site manager on a daily basis. You will be part of the Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will be the focal point for all the buying activities of the project onsite (direct&indirect, goods&services).
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
* Manage in autonomy the Purchase Requisitions received from the section lead for any goods and services
* Review the PR to ensure they are complete and consistent with the budget and technical needs of the project
* Prepare a tender strategy with proper documents to explain our procurement process to vendors with the relevant timelines and qualification information
* Liaise with bidders, inspectors, vendors and the Kingston office on a daily basis to ensure all the parties understood the needs and requests
* Support the vendors during the preparation of the technical/commercial proposals with obligation of confidentiality
* Compare different proposals from vendors and suggest actions to be taken in order to improve project results
What are we looking for?
* Experience: Proven experience as Buyer or equivalent for both goods and services in the Oil&Gas or Energy industry
* Technical skills: Goods and services purchasing strategy
* IT skills: SAP, MS365

* Contractor role, full time, (up to 5,5 days/week when potentially needed) till 2028
* Outside IR35
* Location: Talacre, North Wales
* Start date: January 2026 in Kingston upon Thames (London area) for a training period then February 2026 onsite in Talacre
