Job Role Stroke Specialist Occupational Therapist Band 6 (£38,682 - £46,580) Permanent, full time role Mill Hill Health Centre Responsibilities Locala Community Stroke Service provides comprehensive care for adults in community settings. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join our team. We provide high quality care to patients in their own homes, community settings, and care homes. This role requires a motivated and innovative person to work within this established service and it is vital that you are able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team including supervision and delegation to Rehabilitation Assistants. Experience of treating patients following diagnosis of stroke, brain injury and other neurological conditions is essential. Good communication skills, IT skills and flexibility are essential qualities. As part of your responsibilities you would undertake assessment of impact of stroke and development of treatment programmes alongside multi-disciplinary colleagues and delegation to rehabilitation Assistants.
