About Church Road Church Road is a brand-new service having recently opened in Ferndown. At Church Road we provide accommodation and support for up to 8 adults with acquired brain injuries or neurological conditions. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team working with rehabilitation-focused placements supported by neuro therapists, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech & language therapy and neuro psychology to aid recoveries.

Role: Support Worker
Location: Ferndown (BH22)
Salary: £13.20 - £13.90 per hour
Hours: 08:00 – 20:30
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
* Prompting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
* Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
* Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
* Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
* Assisting with personal care as required.
* Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
* Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
Qualifications & training
Experience within the care sector is not required as we offer full training, coaching and development.
