Fleet Compliance and Training Manager

Overview
The key purpose of this role is to ensure all obligations under the Serco Ltd Operators Licence and MoD Transport Regulations are checked and complied with, all documentation is correctly held for audit, and driver CPC training is delivered.
Responsibilities
* Monitoring compliance and legal requirements in day‑to‑day delivery of the Transport Fleet.
* Manage Digital Tachograph compliance for drivers and vehicles.
* Ensure drivers comply with the Road Transport Working Time Directive.
* Maintain a Driver CPC Plan which will be managed by the Fleet Services Manager.
* Undertake driver CPC training as part of the Serco Group’s accredited training consortium.
* Maintain and service vehicles coming under the Serco Ltd Operators Licences in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and the Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness.
* Line management responsibilities for Transport Administrators.
Qualifications
* Full Cat B Driving Licence (Desirable).
* Level 3 Education & Training Certificate (Desirable, training can be provided).
* Understanding of transport operations including tachographs.
* Strong administration skills.
* Line management experience.
* Competent in Microsoft Office and possess a high standard of oral communication skills.
