KBR’s Estates Intelligence division specialises in enabling clients to make informed decisions about the operational and strategic management of their estates and asset portfolios, including the external supply chain retained to deliver asset management and maintenance services. Estates Intelligence teams utilise the ‘6 As’ Methodology to deliver business benefits by deploying their ‘Viaverse’ platform, which enables data aggregation, automation, assurance of process and data integrity, auditing, analytics, and asset management enhancement.
Your Role
KBR’s Estates Intelligence team is seeking a skilled Functional Test Analyst with hands-on experience in Test Automation to join our dynamic team. The candidate will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, designing, executing, and automating test cases. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure high-quality software delivery.
What We're Looking For
* Test Design and Execution: Analyze requirements, develop test plans, execute functional, regression, and system integration tests.
* Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit; integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
* Agile Collaboration: Participate in release planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming; work closely with development teams.
* Defect Management: Log, track, and work with developers on defect resolution.
* Continuous Improvement: Contribute to refining testing processes and stay updated on industry trends.
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on functional testing and automation.
* Experience working in Agile teams and with automation tools (Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG).
* Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
* Engagement in UAT processes with clients.
* ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
Technical Skills
* Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java or Python.
* Experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, REST Assured).
* Version control experience (Git).
Soft Skills
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Additional Information
This role is hybrid with regular attendance at Leatherhead HQ, occasional travel to Swindon and client sites, typically 2-3 days per week.
