IPRS Aeromed is currently recruiting for an Operations Coordinator to join their expanding team based in the Gatwick office. You will play a key role as part of the Operations Team, ensuring that IPRS Aeromed continues to deliver innovative and exemplary clinical services to its clients in the most effective manner, through optimum operational business processes and procedures. Additionally, you will ensure all clinical bank staff are tasked and dispatched effectively to deliver a first-class service to clients and patients within set service level agreements and key performance indicators.

The Role
As Operations Co-ordinator for IPRS Aeromed, you will work closely with operational, administrative, and clinical colleagues to deliver the day-to-day operational running of the service. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the successful service delivery of the Operations Department, working closely with the Operations Manager and Clinical Management Team
* Regular liaison with Operational, Clinical, and finance colleagues both at Gatwick and remote locations
* Coordinating and supporting operationally all clinical team and bank medics undertaking work for IPRS Aeromed, ensuring all tasks are planned effectively to meet the client's needs
* Utilising a bespoke database for the management of staff and workload
* Using management information to ensure sufficient resource availability for demand and addressing any projected shortfalls
* Answering and/or redirecting queries, requests for information in line with company processes and policies
* Assisting in the coordination and implementation of key operational projects and new initiatives
* Providing shared coverage of the company's on-call service overnight on weekdays 19:00 - 07:00 (4 nights a week, one week in six)
* Providing shared coverage of the company's on-call service at weekends on a rota basis (every six weeks)
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need the following:
* 4 GCSE/O level passes A-C or equivalent, including English and Maths
* Experience working in customer service/administration
* Experience of using various Microsoft programmes and databases
* Experience interacting with independent third-party clinical staff, working remotely
* Experience dealing with medical professionals and patients
* Experience of assigning work to a remote team, in an international environment
* Experience working within Emergency Medical Repatriation Services
Skills
* Effective communication with internal and external customers and providing excellent customer service
* Ability to identify and implement improvements in customer service functions
* Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills, including a friendly telephone manner
* Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
