About the Role
As part of our growing water infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in the upgrade of the Wanlip Sewage Treatment Works, a key project in Severn Trent's AMP 8 programme. Your Responsibilities
In your role as a Mechanical Supervisor, you will:
* Coordinate on-site mechanical installations, ensuring all work meets required specifications and quality standards.
* Build strong relationships with project engineers, subcontractors, and site teams for efficient work sequencing.
* Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance, fostering a culture of wellbeing.
* Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications, providing guidance as needed.
* Conduct thorough site inspections and testing to ensure excellence before handover.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
* Have experience supervising mechanical works in a relevant industry setting.
* Possess a solid understanding of mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumping stations, and pipework.
* Are passionate about maintaining health, safety, and quality standards on construction sites.
* Hold a full driving license and are flexible to work across various sites.
