We are now recruiting for an Operations Control Centre (OCC)Manager to join our operations team. Job Summary: Reporting to the Head of Operations and Safety, the OCC Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Operations Control Centre, ensuring efficient, effective and customer-focused management of a team of 21 individuals. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering a collaborative team environment. As OCC Manager you will be responsible for: Leading and managing a team of 21OCC staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. Oversee the daily operations of the OCC, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and developed where necessary to deliver excellence in the department. Devise and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and analyse performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance operations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Manage and resolve any operational issues or emergencies that arise. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Prepare and present regular reports on OCC performance to senior management. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting professional growth and development. To be able to succeed in the OCC Manager role, you must have: A Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Proven experience in a leadership role within an operations or control centre environment. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. It would be desirable if you also have : Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with operational demands and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
