Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing environment, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.
Responsibilities
* Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
* Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
* Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
* Assist in the management of the nursery, supporting leadership in daily operations.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* A qualification in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable.
* Strong management and leadership skills to support the nursery team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential transportation needs.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
