Where We Need You: Protiviti is looking for a Senior Manager to join our g rowing Risk and Compliance team with a focus on non-financial risk management. We are seeking an evolving leader within the general risk and compliance space. Protiviti’s risk and regulatory compliance practice in London is focused on Financial Services – insurance, retail, private, commercial and investment banking, securities trading, investment management, wealth management and market infrastructure. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, design and implement strategies and ensure successful project delivery. What You Can Expect: T he Senior Manager is responsible for the execution of client engagements and maintaining strong relationships with senior client personnel. The Senior Manager must have a solid understanding of their client’s business and be able to demonstrate technical competence across Non Financial Risk Management disciplines within the financial services industry (FSI). The Senior Manager ensures quality and satisfaction on engagements using their strong Financial Services knowledge, understanding of controls, knowledge of regulations and ability to manage clients and staff. The Senior Manager is responsible for developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients and are responsible for job economics and for ensuring timely close and billing of projects. What Your Days Will Look Like: Lead the delivery and management of client advisory/ consulting engagements which includes management of Protiviti and client staff. Project and Programme planning and tracking including reporting, quality assurance and presentation to clients. Assistance with the development of engagement methodology and procedures some of which will be generic and others more specific, including aspects of regulatory requirements and supervision, operational risk frameworks and assessments, governance issues including enterprise risk management and subject matter internal audit reviews The development of proposals and bid materials for client advisory/ consulting engagements primarily within the regulatory compliance team Support with the development of client advisory/ consulting engagement opportunities Manage Protiviti and client staff in line with our risk management practices for the successful delivery of client projects Development of Protiviti propositions, market brand, and thought leadership including white papers, FAQs and other marketing materials Develop new relationships and work with the Managing Director / s to enhance and run existing relationships to maximi s e Protiviti’s coverage and drive sales opportunities Liaise with other offices globally to leverage off current contacts and to provide a considered and consistent approach to the market To work with the wider FSI team to grow the business through identification of sales opportunities and ensuring the professional execution of client engagements Enhance technical and operational knowledge through coaching from team and industry specific training/ seminars/ forums. Ensure this knowledge is shared with team members. Do Your Talents Include the Following? Previous consulting experience, partnering with Financial Services clients within the Non Financial Risk Management space to deliver data and technology enabled transformation programmes to the first and second line risk/control functions Practical application of data, enabling technologies and AI to enhance clients’ risk management activities to create business value Appreciat ion of technology vendors that can support clients’ Risk functions as part of an ecosystem Clear understanding of financial services regulations and regulatory trends The development of proposals and bid materials for client advisory/consulting engagements S trong track record of developing and nurturing a professional network within FSI in the UK Experience of managing and developing staff Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong team player and presentation skills Demonstrate a highly professional approach to the work environment Key subject matter expertise across a range of non-financial risks domains Our Workplace and Employment Process Protiviti practices a hybrid wording model, which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely and is primarily dependent upon the needs of our client. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local, or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments. Remuneration and Benefits Starting salar ies are competitive and are based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the salary range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Employees are eligible for medica l and dental insurance cover, life assurance, pension scheme and receive up to 2 5 days holiday p er calendar year.
