The Role
As HR Advisor, you’ll provide hands-on, practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll be a trusted partner to managers, guiding them through people matters with clarity and confidence.

Managing ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management fairly and consistently
Supporting managers with both short-term and long-term sickness absence cases
Leading the recruitment process end-to-end from vacancy approval to offer
Managing onboarding and induction to ensure an exceptional new starter experience
Reviewing and implementing policies and procedures, identifying gaps and training managers to ensure consistent application
Keeping up to date with employment law changes and updating policies accordingly
Leading employee engagement initiatives, projects, and events aligned to business strategy
Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation
Supporting wider HR projects and internal communications
About You
You’re approachable, credible, and confident. Managers value your advice because you communicate clearly, think commercially, and aren’t afraid to guide them toward the right decisions.
You’ll bring:
Previous experience in a HR Advisor role
A solid understanding of HR best practice and UK employment law
CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities
The confidence to influence and challenge appropriately
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
High attention to detail and a natural ability to problem-solve
What’s in It for You?
This organisation truly invests in its people. Benefits include:
Employee life insurance policy
Enhanced holiday entitlement
Additional holiday after 5 years’ service
Holiday purchase scheme
Employee recognition scheme
Length of service recognition
Enhanced maternity pay
Enhanced paternity pay
Enhanced pension
Flexible hours (unless specified otherwise in contract)
“We Care” – 24 Hour GP access

Social events
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that genuinely values its People function. You’ll have the autonomy to make an impact, the support of a collaborative HR team, and the opportunity to lead meaningful initiatives that shape culture and engagement.
If you’re an HR professional with personality, resilience, and a real passion for making a difference I’d love to hear from you.
