The role:
I am currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher who will require PMLD specific teaching strategies and a nurturing approach to behaviour management. The child will be taught within the Croydon location with an immediate start.
This is a long-term post, so commitment is key as is with all our roles.
Key Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status, QTS, desirable
• SEN Teacher
• Ability to teach Key Stage 3 Curriculum
• PMLD experience
• Team-teach trained, desirable
• Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills
• A genuine passion for education.
• A non-judgemental and empathic approach
• Current DBS – if not then you can apply for a new DBS with us.
• Be available to interview immediately
Teacher Specification:
The successful SEN Teacher will have a commitment to fulfilling the needs of pupils experiencing behavioural, emotional, or learning difficulties, and social communication difficulties. You will have the desire to create a culture of learning, where children are happy, enthusiastic, motivated, and ambitious. Ensuring that you provide a positive and stimulating learning environment.
About the Teaching Role:
In this SEN Teacher position, you will be working with challenging behaviour and therefore be strong and adaptable with your teaching approach. Delivering the Key stage 3 Curriculum differentiated, reconnecting them with education so they can make progress in becoming successful adults and going on to the next stage of their educational pathway successfully.
