Estimator - ConstructionFresh People are currently recruiting for an Estimator on behalf of a growing projects business operating across construction, commercial interiors, refurbishment, and specialist building services.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a collaborative and commercially focused team, playing a key role in the successful pricing and delivery of a diverse range of projects.The business delivers end-to-end project solutions, combining construction expertise with strong project management, quality, compliance, and client service.The Role As Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions, ensuring projects are competitively priced whilst maintaining commercial viability and profitability.Working closely with project delivery, procurement teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, you will play a vital role in supporting projects from pre-construction through to handover.Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates from drawings, specifications, and client requirementsProduce competitive tender submissions and pricing schedulesSource and negotiate costs with suppliers and subcontractorsDevelop cost plans and project budgets during pre-constructionReview project risks, opportunities, and commercial considerationsAttend site visits and pre-tender meetings where requiredWork closely with project and procurement teams to support successful project deliveryMaintain accurate estimating records and cost databasesMonitor market trends, labour costs, and material pricingSkills & Experience Required Proven experience as an Estimator within construction, fit-out, refurbishment, or interiorsStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing structuresExperience preparing tenders and detailed cost estimatesAbility to interpret drawings and technical specificationsExperience working with suppliers and subcontractorsExcellent commercial awareness and analytical skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applicationsDesirable Estimator experience essential with a Construction / Refurbishment / Fit Out business ideallyExperience using estimating software such as Causeway, Bluebeam, or similarPersonal Attributes High attention to detailStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsSelf-motivated and proactive approachAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional and commercially mindedAdaptable and able to manage multiple prioritiesWhat's on Offer Opportunity to join a growing and ambitious projects businessExposure to a varied portfolio of construction and fit-out projectsSupportive and collaborative working environmentLong-term career development opportunitiesCompetitive salary package dependent upon experienceApply Now If you have estimating experience within construction, refurbishment, fit-out, or interiors and are looking for your next career opportunity, we would welcome your application.TPBN1_UKTJ
