About the role
* As an expert in the supply of medicines and accuracy checking, support Pharmacists and other Healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.
* Work with Primary and Secondary care health professionals to improve community health.
* Oversee and inspire the healthcare team to deliver patient-centred care.
* Support training of support team members, trainee technicians, and trainee pharmacists.

Responsibilities
* Ordering medicines, checking, dispensing, and endorsing prescriptions.
* Final accuracy check of dispensed items before they are supplied to patients.
* Oversee Dispensing Team Members when asked by the Responsible Pharmacist.
* Prepare, supply, and check prescriptions, providing advice and support.
* Take medicine histories from patients and advise on treatment options.
* Provide advice to patients and support others in medicine advice, referring complex queries to Pharmacists as appropriate.
Requirements
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC and recognized Accuracy Checking Qualification.
* Passion for patient and customer care.
* Ability to deliver high standards efficiently.
* Experience in overseeing dispensing teams and supporting the Healthcare Team.
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Comfortable with digital technology and embracing new tools.
* Willingness to continue learning and develop professionally.
* Interest in becoming an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician with Boots.
