**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Full- time/Part-time Gardeners. Ideal candidates will possess a passion for horticulture, a keen eye for detail, with the potential to teach and lead a small expanding team.
Understanding various garden styles is advantageous, as different gardens require distinct management methods.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform comprehensive maintenance of all garden aspects, including beds, borders, ponds, natural swimming pools, vegetable and fruit production, woodland areas, meadows, orchards, glasshouses, and citrus houses.
* Safely and effectively operate various machinery and equipment such as lawn mowers, strimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, ladders, and access equipment.
* Take responsibility for the day-to-day care and management of plants, trees, lawns, and hedges.
* Collaborate on new garden and landscape projects, providing advice and planning assistance as required.
* Execute tasks related to the maintenance of the kitchen gardens, including cropping, propagation, and glasshouse work.
* Uphold the highest standards to ensure the gardens are well-maintained and visually appealing throughout the year.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience in a gardening role.
* Full driving licence.
* Strong knowledge of horticultural principles.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* communicate effectively and professionally with both clients and staff
-Have an understanding of H&S legislation and procedures
* Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Team player with a passion for gardening.
* Flexible, self-motivated, open to new ideas, and willing to assist with other duties as requested by the clients.
* Desire to be a part of further developing these gardens.
-Have good punctuality and time management to maintain allotted time slots booked by clients
* Comfortable working with access equipment.
* Interest in improving biodiversity and wildlife.
