Job Description We are currently seeking a Machinery Operative to join our clients plywood manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery, ensuring high-quality output while maintaining strict health and safety standards. This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Operate plywood manufacturing machinery Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency Load and unload raw materials and finished plywood products Carry out basic machine checks, cleaning, and routine maintenance Identify and report machine faults or product defects Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures Work effectively as part of a production team to meet targets Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred Experience with wood processing or plywood production is an advantage Good attention to detail and quality control awareness Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks Strong commitment to health and safety Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts if required Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed What We Offer Full training provided Stable, long-term employment Opportunities fo...
