Group1 Ruislip is looking for a Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentice.
Your role
You will be working in a busy BMW/MINI workshop environment, responsible for maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to the high standards of the BMW/MINI brand.
All BMW Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentices attend the BMW Group Academy UK in Berkshire for their off-the-job training. This ensures consistent training throughout the UK and allows our apprentices to train on the latest products and technology. The training lasts over 3 years, combining classroom and workshop sessions.
The course emphasizes electronics and cutting-edge technology, including work on:
* Cars
* Engines and BMW diagnostic equipment
Ultimately, you will be qualified to undertake:
* Maintenance
* Service
* Repair activities on vehicles to the highest standards.
Future prospects
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will continue your development on the BMW Technical Programme.
Things to consider
Successful applicants must be prepared to travel to the BMW Group Academy in Berkshire for training, which is conducted in one-week blocks approximately every 2-3 months. All training costs, including travel, accommodation, and food, are covered by the BMW Retailer.
About the employer
All Motor Vehicle Technician, Aftersales Customer Service (Parts & Service), and Motorcycle Technician Apprentices will be employed at their local BMW Retailer and attend the BMW Group Academy for training, based at Wokefield Park near Reading, Berkshire. Bodyshop Technician (Paint & Panel) Apprentices will be employed at their local BMW Retailer or Bodyshop, with training at the Milton Keynes facility.
