Aspire People are working in partnership with a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Central Manchester to recruit a passionate Reception Teacher for a full-time role starting in September.
This is a well‑resourced Early Years setting with a strong focus on play‑based learning, early language development and structured phonics. The Headteacher is seeking someone who understands the balance between nurturing care and high expectations in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Role
* Full class teaching responsibility within Reception.
* Delivering high‑quality EYFS provision in line with Development Matters.
* Supporting early phonics, early number and communication development.
* Creating an engaging, language‑rich classroom environment.
* Monitoring progress through observations and formative assessment.
* Building strong relationships with parents and carers.
* Working closely with the EYFS lead and support staff.
The School Is Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching within EYFS (ECTs welcome).
* Strong understanding of phonics and early reading frameworks.
* A nurturing yet structured classroom approach.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
