Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of Fixed Income systems integrated into the wider banking environment to meet the needs of the bank's trading desks. Delivering high-quality software changes and solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment, including running Scrums, Sprints, and creating and deploying Releases. Providing guidance and advice on .Net, .Net Core, C#, Java, and Python.
Common tasks include delivering new projects, optimizing the current setup, and providing future-proofing guidance on relevant data points. Promoting enterprise data management and governance through an Agile SDLC approach. Preparing the tech stack for future hybrid collaboration with cloud technologies such as Azure. Ensuring regulatory and internal reporting is resilient, timely, and incorporates the latest industry and technology solutions. Collaborating daily with traders and Desk heads to meet strategic objectives through technological changes. Demonstrating advanced business knowledge and experience in Fixed Income, working closely with traders to support their strategic goals.
Skills
* Core development languages: .Net, .Net Core, C#, Java, Python
* Experience with Front Office trading systems, including low-touch e-trading platforms
* Strong numerical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and utilize financial models
* Understanding of Fixed Income banking environment, product range, opportunities, and risks
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience managing end-to-end design, definition, and delivery of technical solutions aligned with strategic goals
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business, including Front Office
* Hands-on experience with automated testing environments and CI/CD pipelines
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
