Role Overview
* Role: Electrical Design Engineer
* Sector: Water
* Location: North Wales (Hybrid working)
* Contract Length: 12 months
* Rate: £45‑50ph
* IR35: Outside
What Are We Looking For?
You will take on a leading role in aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards.
* Load, instrument and actuator schedules
* Power supply assessments
* Single line diagrams, block cable diagrams and termination drawings
* Cable routing and cable calculations
* Production of URS documentation
* Liaison with MCC and system integration sub‑contractor
* Lighting and lightning studies
* P&IDs and electrical schedules
* Contribution to HAZOPs and ALMs
* Contribution to DSEAR studies
* Water sector experience
