Salary: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a resilient and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant (TA) to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a welcoming school in Rotherham.
This rewarding role is ideal for someone passionate about making a meaningful difference in young people’s lives by supporting their emotional development and behaviour.
Your Role Will Include:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs
* Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
* Assisting with personalised learning and behaviour plans
* Creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
* Building strong relationships to promote trust and resilience
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or challenging behaviour
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Understanding of behaviour strategies and safeguarding (desirable)
* Ability to act as a positive role model
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
