Through proactive community and stakeholder engagement, you will champion the values of Acorn Training and the adult learning services we offer, inspiring individuals to enrol in our programmes. As a pivotal figure in promoting active participation and enriching the learning journey of adult learners, your responsibility lies in creating a nurturing educational environment. You will enhance learner referrals and enrolments, forge robust partnerships with external stakeholders, ensure compliance, and provide management insights regarding referral generation to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities and KPIs
Responsibilities
* Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders, community organisations, and networks to support adult learning programmes.
* Identify and promote suitable Adult Learning programmes and SWAPs to learners and referrers.
* Conduct information, advice, and guidance sessions for potential learners.
* Engage proactively with learners, employers, and community groups, providing comprehensive programme information.
* Manage and maintain detailed learner referral information and facilitate communication with tutors and managers.
* Respond promptly to referral inquiries and support potential learners.
* Assess individual learner needs and deliver tailored guidance and support.
* Attend education and employment events to promote adult learning.
* Complete recruitment, enrolment, and contractual documentation accurately and timely.
* Meet monthly targets for programme starts, placements, and progressions.
* Develop learner engagement strategies to encourage participation and attendance.
* Collect feedback to improve programme quality.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to promote programmes.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential Qualifications & Training
* GCSE A*-C in English, Maths, ICT or equivalent
* Full driving licence
* Experience in learner and stakeholder engagement
* Proven ability to meet and exceed targets
* Excellent customer service skills
* Experience working with employer networks, agencies, and local authorities
* Awareness of safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults
* Understanding of safe working practices

* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills
