NRL is currently recruiting a Commissioning Manager to join one of our leading clients in their Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing project team within a critical sector, supporting the delivery of complex engineering works on a key site within the UK’s nuclear fleet.
Role- Commissioning Manager
Location- Seascale
Rate- £70-£75.00 per hour (Outside IR35)
Key Responsibilities
Manage and influence complex commissioning work-scopes
Utilize advanced commissioning management techniques across multi-functional organizations
Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and CDM regulations
Use reporting tools covering estimating, scheduling, programming, reports and risk analysis & earned value tools
Ideally hold formal trade qualifications with demonstrable experience in the commissioning discipline.
Ideally you will be qualified to HNC or higher but relevant experience can be held in lieu of qualifications.
Cultivate stakeholder relationships at all levels

Key Skills & Attributes
Wide range of experience in Commissioning Management in a highly regulated & safety focused organization, ideally in Nuclear, Defence, Water, MOD, Rail, Pharmaceutic etc.
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
APMP formal project management qualification or equivalent
Confident, professional and driven
Robust and resilient natureQualifications / Accreditations
Degree or HNC in Engineering or equivalent experience
