Bank Receptionist
We are looking for a friendly and experienced Bank Receptionist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Harrow, a recovery‑focused service treating a wide range of mental health problems and specialist diagnostic, assessment and inpatient services.
Work flexibility: pick up shifts Monday – Sunday, 7.5 hours a day (9am – 5pm). All days, shifts are fast‑paced requiring quick, calm and controlled information processing.
Responsibilities
* Provide a professional, welcoming reception experience.
* Greet visitors and notify the appropriate member of staff of their arrival.
* Ensure visitors sign in and out, and that patients leaving and returning are recorded appropriately.
* Answer and transfer all incoming calls and take messages where appropriate.
* Sort and distribute post, and assist with general office duties as required.
* Keep the reception area clean and tidy.
* Promote the safety and security of all site users and ensure all staff comply with security protocols.
Qualifications
* At least 1 year of experience working as a Receptionist in a healthcare setting.
* Organised, naturally helpful and able to multitask.
* Computer literate – including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook or equivalent.
* Knowledge of telephone systems.
* Polite, friendly & approachable with excellent communication skills.
* GCSE Maths and English qualified, with a good level of numeracy and literacy.
* Diligent and accurate, with an eye for detail and an understanding of confidentiality.
