Overview Of The Role
Our specialist stakeholder team helps deliver large infrastructure project proposals to time and budget by engaging with a wide range of project stakeholders to maximise benefits of infrastructure design and development. We work across transport, water and energy sectors.
We are looking for a principal stakeholder consultant with seven to 10 years of stakeholder engagement and consultation experience to lead the development and delivery of stakeholder engagement and consultation solutions for large infrastructure project proposals. The role requires ensuring activities are compliant with legislative requirements, aligned with recognised best practice, and clearly understood by technical and community stakeholders. The candidate should also be able to lead business development to identify and progress project opportunities, and provide line management. Career progression is available within a successful and progressive team working on high-profile UK infrastructure proposals.
Existing client roster includes government departments, local authorities, road and rail organisations, aviation and port organisations, environmental organisations, water and energy companies.
Candidate specification
Essential
* Experience in stakeholder communications, engagement and consultation in an infrastructure sector
* Degree qualified (2:1 or above)
* Stakeholder project management
* Stakeholder campaign development and management
* Understanding of relevant legislation and best practice guidance
* Report development and writing
* Preparing and delivering stakeholder presentations
* Engagement with stakeholder and/or community groups
* Understanding of equality, diversity and accessibility
