Process Safety Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of process safety management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks. This role will deliver safety consultancy and experience to our varied customers in oil & gas, water, Petrochemical and energy transition sector.
More about the role:
1. Assist in the design and development of process safety systems and controls. Work with Clients to understand and improve functional safety management at their facilities.
2. Support senior engineers in the delivery of hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA) for new and existing process designs.
3. Support the engineering team in the development of safety instrumented systems (SIS) and layers of protection analysis (LOPA).
4. Participate in the design review process to ensure safety considerations are integrated into engineering projects.
5. Collaborate with design engineers to develop and implement inherently safer design principles.
