The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-set work, and ensure that students remain focused, engaged, and on task throughout the lesson. This is an exciting and varied position that allows you to experience a wide range of school environments while supporting pupils' learning and development. Key Responsibilities: Supervising students in the absence of their usual class teacher Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies Encouraging positive attitudes to learning and participation Providing feedback to teaching staff about pupil progress and behaviour Building rapport with pupils and fostering a safe, respectful learning environment About the Schools Tradewind works with a network of supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent.
