Head of SEO & AI Search, independent agency, London (hybrid), 50-60K
A fast-growing independent digital agency is hiring a Head of SEO & AI Search to lead its SEO function, own client delivery, and shape the future of its AI-powered search offering.
What you’ll do:
* Lead and develop a small SEO team
* Drive strategy, roadmaps, QBRs & performance
* Partner with tech leads on migrations & major SEO projects
* Build and scale the agency’s AI Search proposition (AIO, GEO, AI-assisted workflows)
* Improve delivery processes using AI + manage internal systems
* Support onboarding, retention & new-business opportunities
* Report directly to the MD

* Senior-level agency SEO experience
* Strong people leadership
* Deep technical + strategic SEO expertise
* Interest in AI search and emerging workflows
* Confident communicator & strong project manager
