DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN Basic Salary: Up to £45,000 Depending on Experience OTE: Up to £55,000 Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am - 1:00pm Location: Cardiff Are you an experienced Diagnostic Technician looking for your next challenge? This role would suit a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician who thrives on identifying and resolving complex electrical and mechanical faults and takes pride in delivering first-time fixes. Benefits - Competitive Salary Package - Up to £45,000 Basic - OTE Up To £55,000 - Ongoing Manufacturer Training & Development - Modern Workshop Environment - Career Progression Opportunities - Employee Benefits Package - Supportive and Experienced Team Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults - Carry out advanced fault finding using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment - Utilise oscilloscopes, multimeters and specialist testing equipment where required - Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards - Diagnose engine management, drivability and electrical system faults - Carry out repairs including cambelts, timing chains, clutch replacements and major mechanical work - Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements - Complete road tests, calibrations and quality control inspections - Accurately complete job cards, service records and warranty documentation - Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and right first time - Maintain high levels of workshop productivity and technical excellence Skills & Qualifications - Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician - NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) - Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability - Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and software - Electrical diagnostic experience highly advantageous - Passion for technical problem solving and continuous development - Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks) Why Apply?
