Your tasks
1. Act as the main interface to the customer: process all types of quotes, enquiries and orders and respond to them within 24 hours.
2. Receive and process/distribute different kinds of customer enquiries (technical, commercial, quality) and collaborate with different departments across the company.
3. Understand future customer needs and market trends (project pipeline, forecasts)
4. Proactively liaise with other departments (cross-border) to ensure that internal & external customer requirements are met at all times
5. Maintain accurate and up to date files for all your business documents and correspondence
6. Initiate and follow up actions to requests arising from related departments (Field Sales, Application Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance)
7. Continuous improvement: ensure returns related to sales office errors are kept to an absolute minimum, and where appropriate initiate corrective actions to ensure no repeats of the same type of error occur.
8. Ensure that all responsibilities under your remit are compliant with H+S documented processes at all times
9. Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by your Line Manager
Please note:
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis for approximately 12 months to provide maternity leave cover.
Your profile
Experience:
10. Working experience in an international company, preferably in industrial manufacturing environment
11. Prior SAP knowledge
Skills:
12. Profound technical understanding and knowledge
13. Numerate
14. SAP knowledge
15. Understanding of planning / international supply chain networks
16. Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
