We're looking for a fantastic Year 5/6 teacher to join our friendly school in the beautiful village of Bidford-on-Avon.This is a brilliant opportunity for a passionate teacher who loves bringing learning to life-whether that's turning a maths lesson into a problem-solving adventure, diving into a great class novel, or sparking curiosity about the wider world. Our pupils are enthusiastic, full of questions, and always ready for their next challenge.This is a full time position beginning in May until July!YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE* Teach core subjects including English, maths and science, as well as foundation subjects across the wider curriculum.* Establish a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.* Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupils' progress, wellbeing and achievements.ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:* QTS qualification (essential).* Strong behaviour management skills.* A minimum of 2 years' UK Teaching experience.* Excellent safeguarding knowledge, as well as safeguarding training (we can provide training).* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).* References covering the last two years of employment.
