Quest Search & Selection are currently recruiting for an
Assistant Merchandiser
to join a successful accessories and gifting business.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing stock packages for new stores, monitoring category performance, and supporting management by producing
WSSI
and
OTB
reports.

. The business focuses on the planning, controlling, and monitoring of merchandise purchase, intake, and distribution to maximise sales and profitability.
Duties & Responsibilities of this Assistant Merchandiser role -
* Review and manage line performance, stock levels, and ordering processes
* Oversee stock movements into and out of the warehouse
* Recommend and document promotional activities in line with departmental budgets
* Prepare reports and analysis for product sign-offs, business reviews, and ad-hoc requests
* Accurately complete and obtain authorisation for
Open to Buy (OTB)
documentation
* Support the planning of sales, markdowns, and stock to achieve target levels
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and attend supplier meetings where required
* Supervise workloads and support the training and development of the Allocator
To Be Successful in this Assistant Merchandiser role -
* Ideally 2+ years' experience as a Senior Allocator, Senior Merchandise Admin, or Assistant Merchandiser
* Strong attention to detail
* A genuine passion for numbers and data analysis with a curious mindset
* Proficient in
WSSI
and highly skilled in
Excel
* Driven, enthusiastic, and eager to progress your merchandising career
