Front of House Coordinator Onsite Gloucester City Centre | 12 month Fixed Term Contract | Part time | 3 x 12-hour shifts in an 8-day cycle Overview A Front of House Coordinator / Receptionist is needed to provide Maternity Cover, to be the welcoming face of our brilliant workspace in the centre of Gloucester. You’ll be the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and contractors, making sure everyone feels looked after while keeping our front desk operations running smoothly. From greeting guests and managing calls to coordinating fire drills, monitoring security, and supporting health & safety—you’ll be at the heart of it all. Our office is manned 24/7 - This is an onsite role with a 12hr shift pattern between 7am and 7pm. What will you be doing? Your duties will include: * Safety & Checks: Carry out daily building walkarounds, manage fire drills, and report health & safety risks. * Front Desk: Greet visitors and staff, manage bookings, access control, and contractor check-ins. * Communication: Handle calls, arrange taxis, and notify staff of deliveries. * Security & Handover: Monitor CCTV, maintain logs, and complete shift handovers. * Facilities: Track stock levels, manage car park records, and support general site operations. What experience do you need under your belt? * Previous reception or front-of-house experience, or comparable experience * Strong communication skills and a confident phone manner * Comfortable using tech and managing multiple tasks * A team-first attitude and great time management * Bonus if you’ve used Google Workspace or have CCTV training (we’ll provide it if needed!)
