You will join a dynamic team of product and design professionals committed to building a secure global payments platform with intuitive user experiences.
The Role
As a Product Owner, you will ensure effective fraud detection and prevention, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement screening, identify fraud, and maintain customer trust.
Fraud: Real-time detection across cards, web, and apps, monitoring transactions, and managing fraud metrics.
Screening: Name Screening, Transaction Screening, and blacklist management.
KYB/KYC: Verifying customer and business information to prevent financial crimes, complying with regional regulations.
Limits & Controls: Managing risk through funding, spending, and geographical limits.
Transaction Monitoring: Setting rules and alerts to detect suspicious activities and escalate cases as needed.
What you’ll do
* Define and communicate product vision and strategy.
* Develop and maintain a product roadmap.
Stakeholder Management:
* Collaborate with internal teams and external authorities.
* Maintain relationships with third parties.
Product Development & Execution:
* Translate ideas into user stories and deliver features.
* Oversee the product lifecycle ensuring timely delivery.
Customer Experience & Value:
* Ensure a seamless user experience and high engagement.
Data & Insights:
* Use data to inform decisions and improve products.
Market & Competitive Analysis:
* Monitor industry trends and compliance requirements.
Partner Engagement:
* Align partner goals with product strategies.
Subject Matter Expert:
* Provide expertise for sales and platform capabilities.
What you’ll bring
3-5 years as a Product Owner/Manager, preferably within fintech, with experience in fraud prevention and partnerships.
Skills:
* Strong communication and analytical skills.
Technical Knowledge:
* Familiarity with Agile, Jira, Confluence, and payment/fraud systems.
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in business, CS, or related field.
